Edward Snowden
Pour accompagner la présentation d’un article sur l’informaticien Edward Snowden, j’ai réalisé 3 doubles pages d’un magazine en transmettant l’intention générale du sujet à travers la mise en page. En décalant le texte des repères, j’illustre les règles enfreintes et les secrets brisés. Pour la trahison, j’ai réalisé une grille, et le titre «trahison» vient trahir cette grille par sa taille et sa position. La traque se reflète dans un titre imposant, envahisseur et gras et dans une composition lourde tombant vers le bas comme le poids qui pèse sur ses épaules.
To accompany the presentation of an article on computer scientist Edward Snowden, I created three double-page spreads for a magazine, conveying the general intent of the subject through the layout. By shifting the text away from the reference points, I illustrate the rules that have been broken and the secrets that have been revealed. For betrayal, I created a grid, and the title “trahison” betrays this grid through its size and position. The manhunt is reflected in an imposing, invasive, bold title and in a heavy composition that falls downward like the weight on his shoulders.
